My Mission

I am barbieJo, Personal Organizer to the busy mom. I teach how to get organized and keep it that way through simple systems and quick wins around the house. 

My Story

You can do hard things and realize they may not be as hard as you initially thought.
I was standing in line at a government office, applying for assistance when I realized that I needed to make a change and take control of my family’s future.
I am married to a farmer and we live for the “next season” hoping that it will be better than the last.
Living on a tight budget was our way of life. It was then, standing in line next to a toothless man, waiting for food stamps, I decided there had to be something I could do to help get us out of this situation for good. I wanted to be able to buy the fancy toilet paper!
I had always tried to help out by teaching dance out of a small garage-turned studio behind our house. I even tried my hand at several MLM’s trying to earn a buck. I even googled “How To Earn Money From Home.”
When we moved to the middle of nowhere to take over the family farm, I had no idea what I was in store for.
My parents divorced when I was 14.
I got used to being thrown into new situations. I prided myself for having faith in every footstep.
Many times I felt like I had little control over my life, but I always had control over my physical surroundings.
I found comfort and control in keeping my surroundings organized and tidy. It was empowering.
I didn’t realize it at the time but this method of soothing became a refined skill.
Over the next 12 years I used that skill set to help many others in various circumstances. The outcome was always the same…I rescued them from feeling super overwhelmed and stuck.
Then something happened even I can’t believe…
I built a business and was able to contribute to our family’s financial needs!
